Cruise description
The central Moscow river walk is a two-hour route around the center of the capital from the Pier Novospassky most to the Vorobyievi Gori and back. Departing from the Novospassky most pier, the boat will glide through the Moscow river waters passing by the city’s major landmarks. The most beautiful views will unfold before your eyes from a rather unusual perspective as you take this gentle cruise, among these the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Peter the Great Statue standing on the tip of a small island on the Moscow river, and many others. With short stops at the main central piers of the capital made along the way, in two hours the boat will bring you to the Novospassky most Pier. Throughout the cruise guests are welcome to enjoy a variety of snacks, hot and cold dishes, soft drinks and hard liquor.

Moskva boat is one of the most popular Soviet and Russian boat designs for local river lines. All the boats operating in the capital have undergone a process of modernization, since its rather efficient design allows to introduce major changes for more comfortable accommodation of our guests on the closed lower and open upper decks.

Among the boats operating on the central river line you will find the following: Moskva-51, Moskva-61, Moskva-85, Vodnik, Flagman, Olimpiada

The boats measure more than 38 meters in length and 6.5 metres in width. Such impressive dimensions allow them to comfortably accommodate up to 180 people on their two decks. Depending on the boats navigational characteristics and the way they are equipped, motor boats differ in their river class. All the boats guarantee maximum safety and comfort under any navigational conditions.

Moscow sightseeing boat tour, Moskva central river cruise route

The most famous and popular Moscow river walk route deservedly is the classical Central Line, passing through the center of the capital from the Novospassky Bridge to the Vorobyievi Gori and back, with stops at all the nearby piers. Traditionally, the line is served by “Moscow” motor boats , the most famous river boats in Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union, and recently the line has been replenished with some new models. Guests are welcome to take a walk on a motor boat through the heart of Moscow every day, starting from 10 in the morning and until 10 pm. Departure intervals for motor boats usually do not exceed 15 minutes, but at the beginning of the day and closer to the wrapping up, boats can run less often, and the starting and finishing time might vary.

Throughout this subtle river cruise along the Moscow River, guests can admire unprecedented views of the numerous sights the Russian capital has to offer, among these: the skyscraper on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment, the Cathedral of Basil the Blessed, the Moscow Kremlin, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the monument to Peter the First, the building of the General Staff of the Ministry of. During the walk the ship will pass twice under nine metropolitan bridges: Bolshoy Krasnokholmsky, Bolshoy Ustinsky, Bolshoy Moskvoretsky, Bolshoy Kamenny, Patriarshy, Krymsky, Pushkinsky, Novoandreevsky and Luzhnetsky metrobridge.
